Introduction to Guitar: meets Wednesday evenings from 7:15- 8:15pm, starts Sept 2nd. If you have never played guitar before, and know almost nothing about it, this is the class for you. You will be amazed at how quickly you can learn to play a few songs. In this class we will build a solid foundation for learning basic “folk/rock” guitar, starting from zero. You will get acquainted with music and guitar vocabulary, chords, strumming and finger picking in the context of simple songs. The goal of the class is to get to know your instrument in a fun, social and musical environment. You will need to have a guitar to bring to class. This class will run for 8 weeks and the cost is $240.
